HOW TO APPLY – using adhesive tab
Step 1: Gently push the edges of the nails with the wooden pusher to remove excess cutin.
Step 2: Gently file the nail surfaces for a better result (OPTIONAL). Remove moisture and oil from the surface of the nails.
Step 3: Choose an adhesive tab slightly smaller than your nail, paste the adhesive tab to the center of the nail, use the wooden pusher to flatten the edges, and remove the protective film.
Step 4: Align the nail with the cuticle, and press down firmly starting from the bottom. (Do not contact with water within 2 hours of application).
HOW TO APPLY – using glue
Step 1: Clean your natural nails thoroughly with soap and water or an alcohol wipe. Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher or an orange wood stick.
Step 2: Lightly buff your natural nails to create a slightly rough surface for better adhesion. Wipe your nails with an alcohol wipe to dehydrate them.
Step 3 Sizing and Selection: Find the press-on nails that best fit each of your natural nails. If a press-on is too big, you can gently file down the sides and corners to get a perfect fit.
Step 4 Application (Glue): Apply a thin layer of nail glue to the back of the press-on nail. Apply a thin layer or a few dots of glue to your natural nail. Align the press-on with your cuticle and press it down firmly, starting from the base and moving towards the tip. Hold the press-on in place for 30-60 seconds, applying pressure to ensure good adhesion and no air bubbles.
(Do not contact with water within 2 hours of application).
HOW TO REMOVE PRESS ON NAILS
To remove press-on nails, start by soaking them in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes to loosen the adhesive. Gently lift the edges of the nails with a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick, and carefully peel them off. If needed, a nail glue remover or acetone can be used, but be cautious as acetone can damage natural nails. After removal, buff your natural nails to remove any residue and apply cuticle oil to moisturize.
Detailed Steps:
- Soak your nails: Fill a bowl with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap or hand soap. Soak your press-on nails for 10-15 minutes, or longer if they’re particularly stubborn. This will soften the adhesive.
- Gently lift the nails: Use a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick to gently pry up the edges of the press-on nails. Start from the cuticle area and work your way along the sides.
- Peel off the nails: Once the adhesive is loosened, carefully peel the press-on nails off your natural nails. Avoid pulling or forcing them off, as this can damage your natural nails.
- Remove residue: If there’s any glue residue left on your nails, gently buff it away with a nail buffer.
- Moisturize: Apply cuticle oil to your nails and surrounding skin to hydrate and nourish them after the removal process.
If the nails are not coming off easily:
Try a nail glue remover: If you used nail glue, you can purchase a nail glue remover that is designed to dissolve the adhesive.
Use acetone:If you’re comfortable using acetone, you can soak your nails in acetone-based nail polish remover for a few minutes to loosen the glue. Be aware that acetone can dry out your nails and skin, so it’s important to moisturize afterward.
